Public Perversion is the Plan: Rural America is the Target

Bartlesville’s Battle is Your Battle

The V1SUT Vantage recently highlighted the struggle of one rural community in Oklahoma to restrict perverse performances in public after a disturbing September event called Bartlesville Pride was held in their town square. A recent article by John Daniel Davidson of The Federalist sheds light on the national nature of this attack on decency in rural communities across our country’s central states by highlighting the infiltration of tiny Taylor, Texas.

There is no hiding in your town that has always been a haven for true family values. The battle for your children is on, whether you are yet able to observe it directly or not. And just as dark money flooded the heartland for the last year, pushing lies as truth and power-grabbing as a desire to serve, big money backs this perversion push through non-profits aligned with alternative sexualities, genders and lifestyles.

Just as Parents are Retaking School Boards, They Must Also Reclaim City Councils

Consistently, municipal leadership in many rural towns is caving to “pride” demands. Ask yourself the following:

• Do you know what your current city ordinances say about adult-oriented activities, events and performances in public spaces? They may say nothing about such things, leaving the place you call home and the children being raised there open to targeting by the perversion push. Those managing your public spaces need a solid and non-negotiable justification for saying no to these events. Consider championing an ordinance to preemptively protect your community and following through with your city council to officially enact such ordinances throughout all public venues and staff groups.

• How familiar are you with the politics of your community’s mayor, council and other decision-making entities? Is it time to target certain seats to protect your town’s children? Just as school boards must be closely and continuously scrutinized, city councils have the power to protect and the power to cower depending upon their office holders.
