The AG’s office didn’t keep them from going into executive session to protect Espolt. Drummond is the only one standing up to protect the students of Oklahoma from the current state superintendent. He will do anything possible to try and destroy public education to line the pockets of his cronies and money moguls wanting state money for his private, for profit schools. He wants them to profit on the state’s dime.
Thank you for the interesting perspective. Matters of public school finance are not discussed within the State Board of Ed's executive sessions. This publication can identify no case where a contract outside of legal services was discussed within such a session during the tenure of the current board members. The board moves into those non-public portions of their meetings primarily to discuss cases of teacher misconduct where the names of student victims may need to be protected. For months, a range of elected officials have been working to infiltrate those sessions, though one board member publicly reported that none of those legislators have been willing to sign an NDA in protection of the teacher and student information discussed in those cases. There is ample evidence to suggest the systematic protection of predator teachers and the passing of such harmful educators between districts began long before Walters took office. The internal abuse will not abate and will continue beyond Walters term unless Oklahomans stop falling for the media/politician narrative and begin looking at the larger system of organizations and offices perpetuating this epidemic. Your comment is appreciated and suggests firm conviction. This publication sincerely encourages you to share any factual information on the matter you may have that we may not be privy to. I knew Drummond was a bad choice. I just didn’t know why.
Instinct is an amazing resource. Thanks for reading and sharing.
